A branch of the Martha’s Vineyard Savings Bank is located on Water Street in Woods Hole. An ATM machine is available there as well as at the Steamship Authority (down at the dock), and outside the Woods Hole Market.

Bike paths:
is a paved, multi-use trail that runs 10.7 miles from North Falmouth to Woods Hole. It is the only bikeway on Cape Cod that has a section along the seashore. Bicycle rentals are available in Falmouth at .

Children's Programs:
offers 3- and 6-week hands-on sciences courses for children ages 7-16. , located ~5 miles from the ϲappcampus and accessible by bike path, provides week-long children’s athletic and creative summer programs.

Woods Hole Village:
The village of Woods Hole has an outstanding public library, a post office, a small market, a coffee shop, a package store, a bakery, candy and ice cream shops, several restaurants (take-out and sit down from casual to tablecloths), and a weekend market in the old Woods Hole Fire Station that sells fresh produce and occasional baked goods. Cape Cod Baseball League:
There is a truly American summer baseball league for college level all-stars, many of whom end up on major league teams. The has a Falmouth team that plays at the Gus Canty Recreation Center field in downtown Falmouth; donations accepted for admission.
